The annular spectacle for Xbox gamers, The Xbox Summer Spotlight is bringing over 75 games to Xbox this year. The event brings popular titles like The Ascent, Last Stop, and Cris Tales. These games further expand the already huge catalog of games available on the platform. Microsoft Rewards and Gift Cards are obtainable during the event by spending $50 on eligible titles.
Microsoft has spent a fortune on bringing games to Xbox and Xbox Gamepass in recent years, including high-profile PC ports and AAA GOTY titles. Summer Spotlight in these last seven years has become an event worth looking forward to every year. The Spotlight will give out huge discounts on popular titles and will also host giveaways.
This year is no exception as last year’s record-breaking rogue-like RPG Hades makes its way to the console. The game has been received well and went on to win several game awards. It will also join the Gamepass on the 13th of Aug. The dungeon‑delving action RPG by Devolver Digital, Death’s Door will be another game joining the fray. The game features unique yet monotonous gameplay paired with fitting music.
Twelve Minutes was another game featured on the Xbox News wire, the game is set to release on the 19th of next month. It is an adventure cinematic game influenced by the likes of Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and David Fincher. The game also features a star-studded voice cast in Daisy Ridley, James McAvoy, and Willem Dafoe. From the looks of it, the game feels very similar to 2019’s adventure game Disco Elysium.
There’s tons of stuff waiting for players during the Xbox Summer Spotlight.
