World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion pack officially launched
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands which is the expansion pack of the popular Massively-Multiplayer-Online-RPG (MMORPG) title World of Warcraft has officially launched yesterday after being delayed from its original release date. Shadowlands is the eighth expansion pack for WoW and it was announced and made available for pre-order at BlizzCon on November 1, 2019.
The game was originally scheduled to release on October 27 but that date was pushed forward as developer Blizzard Entertainment wanted to take time to deliver a high quality product. November 23 is also the 16 year anniversary of World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment celebrated this occasion with an event which lasted for the majority of November.

This new expansion pack features 5 new zones- Bastion, Ardenweald, Maldraxxus, Revendreth, and The Maw. Players will also have a choice to align with one of the four new covenants- Kyrian, Necrolord, Night Fae, and Venthyr. Each of these covenants has their own secret and players will get to embark on unique campaigns and accept missions through the covenant sanctum.
The expansion pack also features Torghast- The Tower of the Damned where the Jailer rules and some of the foulest creatures reside. As you climb higher up the tower, you will be rewarded with unique skills and items.
The shadowlands expansion pack also features character customization options. You can give your character a makeover by changing skin tones to facial features, new tattoos, hairstyles, earrings, and more.
