Riot Games are all set and ready to bring out some of the coolest skins for Valorant as a collaboration with the popular title League of Legends. The “Sentinels of Light” event is not only up to League of Legends, this widespread event includes cosmetics and skins for popular titles like Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra as well as Valorant.
8th July marks the date when the “Sentinels of Light” event goes live, along with the new patch for League of Legends. This patch includes various quests and Ruination themed skins along with the unreal champion for League of Legends “Akshan” who is inspired from the Indian Mythology.
Though, the “Sentinels of Light” event is not only up to League of Legends, this widespread event includes cosmetics and skins for popular titles like Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra as well as Valorant.
During the launch of Kay/O a different set of skins were revealed in the trailer, where it was rumored to go live along with Patch 3.0, but that wasn’t the case and now with the “Sentinels of Lights” going live on 8th July we can expect the patch 3.1 to go live along with new Ruination bundle.
Recently, the known data miner for Valorant, @ValorLeaks also tweeted confirming that the rumored Ruination Bundle is not a hoax and will be coming to Valorant sooner than expected.

~ We will most likely be seeing this bundle around July 8th as that is when the event starts for League. The bundle is currently known to include a Guardian. Also, Viego’s Sword is cool. pic.twitter.com/lIRRWaSqpg

Valorant was launched by Riot Games officially in June 2020, since the release of this game constant updates were pushed including new Agents (Reyna, KillJoy, Yoru, Astra and Kay/O), Map (Ascent, Icebox, Breeze) and a lot of in-game cosmetics in the form of skins with extra added effects and VFX upgraded through the in-game Radiant Points.
Though, Riot haven’t made any confirmations or any announcements about this, but with the next update around the corner, Riot Games might just release some details right before the patch goes live.
