Sony has actively started releasing PlayStation exclusive games on PC. Earlier this month, on May 18, Sony released Days Gone for PC, and now, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is getting a PC release as well. In their recent Investor report, under the New Growth Vectors slide, Sony notes that they have planned a PC launch for the action-adventure title Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
So far, it seems that only Uncharted 4 is getting a PC release which is weird because previous titles from the series are not available on the platform. Although nothing has been confirmed yet and for now, we can only wait for an official word from Sony. Uncharted 4 was launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in May 2016. It is available to play on the PlayStation 5 console through backwards compatibility.
Uncharted 4 is developed by Naughty Dog. The game is played in a third-person perspective and includes a narrative-driven single-player mode as well as an online multiplayer mode. Uncharted 4 features an assortment of weapons- rifles, shotguns, and pistols that can be used in combat. The game also features platformer elements. Players can climb and jump on walls to traverse through different environments and also to gain an advantage over enemies.
Uncharted 4 was widely applauded for its gameplay, visuals, and story. Uncharted 4 won several awards, including the Adventure Game of the Year Award at the 2017 D.I.C.E Awards. It is one of the highest-selling games from the Uncharted series with a sale of over 15 million units.
