Publisher Digital Extremes hosted Tennocon 2021 to discuss all things Warframe. The popular online RPG has had its highs and lows since its launch in 2013, so far amassing a decent player base and gets regular updates and newer content from time to time.
The live-streamed event consisted of various panels and dev talks while also had many loot drops for the viewers.
The New War cinematic quest and Nidus Prime
The developers claim that The New War cinematic quest is their most ambitious one yet. It’ll bring back the old enemies and let you form new alliances as the enemies in the Origin System unite to take on Ballas, Erra, and the Sentient threat. Witness the downfall through the eyes of Grineer trooper Kahl, Corpus Crewman Veso, and Teshin on the 30-minute exclusive gameplay footage.
Everyone’s favorite Warframe Nidus will be on the prime access later this year. Nidus Prime will shake up the origin system as he glides across armed with his signature Weapons. The notoriously unkillable Warframe will receive more customization options.
Caliban is the latest Warframe who makes his way to the game. A warrior built from a combination of Sentient and Warframe parts is here to shake up the origin system. Described Wholly Destructive by its makers, Caliban’skit revolves around sustainability, his passive provides him and his allies more damage resistance as the fight progresses. Caliban and his unrevealed signature weapon join the game later this year.
