Sony recently held their State of Play event where they revealed upcoming third-party titles that will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Fans were treated to trailers of Deathverse: Let it Die, Death’s Door, and more. If you missed the event, here’s a rundown of everything that was announced.

State of Play October 2021 announcements
Deathverse: Let it Die arrives in Spring 2022
Supertrick Games are bringing their multiplayer action survival game Deathverse: Let it Die to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Spring 2022. From the trailer, it looks like the game is a battle royale where you have to eliminate other players and remain the last man standing. There will be different characters to choose from, each armed with unique weapons and skills. Players will also have the choice to forge new weapons and compete with a stronger arsenal.
We are Ofk is a new music biopic game
We are Ofk is a 5-episode game that follows the indie-pop group We are Ofk. Each episode will let you play an interactive music video of 5 different songs. The game features elements like texting, dialogue choices, and more. The game will available in 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Bugsnax is getting a free update
Adventure game Bugsnax is getting a new free update in 2022. It’ll take players to the Isle of Bugsnax where they’ll find a new biome to explore, new Bugsnax to capture, over 100 challenges and 30 quests, and nearly 200 decorations to collect and display.
Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Security Breach arrives in December
Survival-horror RPG Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach is coming to PS4, PS5, and PC on December 16, 2021. It features typical horror elements like jump scares, flashing of lights, and ominous music.
Death’s Door is coming to PlayStation consoles in November
Devolver Digital’s action-adventure title Death’s Door is coming on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 23, 2021. The game features an interesting narrative where you assume the role of crow that is tasked with reaping souls.
KartRider: Drift goes into beta this December
KartRider: Drift is a free-to-play online racing game that brings speed racing mode, advanced racing with an advanced drifting system, speed mode, and more. It’ll be available on PS4 and is heading into closed-beta on December 8.
King of Fighters XV is coming in February 2022
King of Fighters XV will debut on PS4 and PS5 on February 17, 2022. It’s a multiplayer fighting game where you can compete with other players by joining match rooms online. The game is heading into open beta later this month.

Finally, October 2021 State of Play gave an extended look at the action-adventure game Little Devil Inside. It’s a game that includes survival, combat, and exploring different landscapes like snow, mountains, deserts, and more. The game is scheduled to release next year.
