Sony has revealed new controllers that will be available with the new virtual-reality system for the next-generation PlayStation 5 console. Last month, Sony announced that they are developing a new virtual-reality system for PS5 and it will be launched in 2022.
Back then, Sony stated the new VR system will come with new controllers that incorporate features of PS5’s DualSense wireless controller. From the looks, these new set of controllers seem super comfortable, ideal for long gaming hours.

Features of the new PS5 VR system controller
Sony is developing the new VR system for an enhanced, more immersive VR gaming experience. Let’s take a look at the features of these new controllers-
Both of these controllers (L and R) will include an adaptive trigger button which, when pressed will add an apparent tension similar to the PS5 DualSense controller. This offers a more ‘realistic’ gaming experience on a VR system.
Just like the DualSense Controller, the new VR controllers will also have haptic feedback.
With these new controllers, you can simply place your thumb, index, or middle fingers over the buttons and it’ll detect your fingers. This will enable you to make more natural gestures while playing a game.
A tracking ring across the bottom will allow the new VR headset to track these VR controllers.
The Left controller contains one analog stick, the triangle, and square buttons, a “grip” button (L1), a trigger button (L2), and Create button. The Right controller contains one analog stick, the cross and circle buttons, a “grip” button (R1), trigger button (R2), and Options button. The “grip” button can be used to pick up in-game objects, as one example.
