Sifu is going to add difficulty options in an upcoming free update. Games like Sifu, which fall under the “hardcore” category can be very hard and difficult to master. Hence, to balance things out, this kung fu brawl game is putting in difficulty options in an upcoming update which is going to be released on May 3.
What to Expect from the Sifu Update
Developers Sloclap put out an overview of what these difficulty settings would look like when they tweeted this:
Check out our free content update roadmap for #Sifu! At this stage, four major updates are planned – the first one will be available next Tuesday, May 3rd, along with our physical edition!
It will be interesting to see if the “Student Mode” is easier considering the game’s current base difficulty, but Sloclap have not confirmed that. They say that they will have more information regarding the different aspects of the difficulty settings before they release the update. The update will also include optional modifiers that will make enemies stronger, remove the ability to block, or add bullet time.
Sifu was released in February of 2022 and die hard lovers of “souls-like” games have been having a blast with it. The new update looks like Sloclap’s way of making the game appealing for casual gamers. More the merrier!
