What’s new in Saints Row
According to the website, the reboot is set in Santo Ileso, a vibrant fictional city in the American Southwest, and features a brand new setting, new characters, a new tone, and more.
The Saints in this game are a group of 4 friends who have left their criminal organizations but not their criminal ways. There’s Neenah– the driver and mechanic, Kevin– a DJ and a party animal, Eli– the entrepreneur, and the player character- The Boss. Together, they have embarked on a journey to become ‘self-made’.
The objective is to build a vast criminal empire and increase influence over the nine districts of Santo Ileso. Along the way, players will fight three enemy factions- Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall Defense Technologies.
Next-gen features
The developer says they are “implementing features for next-generation consoles” and details will be revealed as the game’s launch draws closer. Fans can expect faster load times, higher FPS, 4K resolution, and crisp graphics in Saints Row on next-generation consoles.
Saints Row is available for pre-order.
