Razer launches its first gaming chair at $499
Razer has launched its first gaming chair, the Razer Iskur priced at $499 during the RazerCon 2020. The day-long event features games and product reveals and live gaming sessions.
The Iskur is a distinct hybrid of the Secretlab Omega’s smaller bucket seat and the Titan’s larger, more accommodating frame except for Iskur having a curvier back and the large adjustable lumbar support.
Looking at the similarities, enthusiasts believed that this was supposedly a collaboration between Razer and SecretLabs. But Razer claims that this chair was designed and developed in-house. SecretLabs has also clarified that it isn’t involved in the development of Razer Iskur.

Razr Iskur features
Unlike most gaming chairs that have lumbar pillows that shift over time or fixed supports that can’t be adjusted, the Razer Iskur provides total lower back support with a built-in, fully adjustable lumbar curve that closely aligns to your spine—ensuring ideal gaming posture for maximum comfort in gaming marathons. In terms of spinal support Razer is clearly pitching ahead of SecretLabs.

With a steel-reinforced body, armrests and wheelbase, this ergonomic gaming chair can support a weight of up to 299lbs/136kg, and is ideal for gamers with a height of 5’6”–6’2”/170–190cm. It also features angled seat edges to maximize resting surface area.

One can enjoy fully customizable positioning with armrests on the Iskur that can be adjusted up and down, forwards and backward, left and right, and rotated inwards or outwards. The 4-D armrests are nigh identical to the ones on the SecretLabs Omega and Titan. The Iskur comes with decent adjustment options which include the Backrest Angle, the Seat Tilt and the Height.
The Iskur comes with Multi-Layered Synthetic Leather and High Density Foam Cushions

This ergonomic gaming chair is wrapped in a material that not only feels great, but is tougher and more durable than standard PU leather, making it better suited to withstand the peeling that comes from long hours of daily use.
For the perfect balance of support and comfort, the Razer Iskur has plush, dense cushions which provide better contouring, allowing your weight to apply just enough pressure as they mold to support your unique body shape.
The Iskur is available to preorder today at Razer’s website, with more retailers coming later this year.
