Like several games, Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure title Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was also delayed, twice. The game was originally scheduled to release in January 2021 but it was delayed by two months and the new release date was March 18, 2021. However, in February, the developer announced another delay as they wanted more time “to deliver a remake that feels fresh while remaining faithful to the original.” They were vague about the game’s release date.
Now according to their latest announcement on Twitter, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is releasing some time next year. The dev team said, “We are making great progress for our game to release next year, but we are not ready to share any additional information just yet”. They also said that the remake will not be featured in the upcoming Ubisoft Forward.
