Penta Esports, the esports division of Newgen Gaming has announced the Penta Challenge Valorant tournament which will be played from October 5 – October 24 and has a prize pool of Rs. 5,00,000. This tournament is supported by Facebook Gaming and Trinity Gaming and is a part of Penta Esports’ newly launched IP, ‘Penta Challenge.’
Registrations for the tournament have already begun and will be live till October 8. Interested players can head over to Penta Esports’ newly launched platform and register. The platform will also serve as a one-stop destination for all things esports, including match schedules, match results, VODs of tournaments and leagues, content, news, announcements, and more.
Penta Esports head of esports, Kiran Noojibail said, “We’ve been working on this platform for a while and it feels rewarding to launch it for everyone. We wanted to create a platform for Indian esports players and enthusiasts, which encompasses all major aspects of esports. Penta Challenge – Valorant will be the first tournament for our platform and we look forward to building a strong community through the platform!”
Penta Challenge Valorant tournament format and prize pool distribution
The Penta Challenge Valorant tournament will feature up to 256 teams with some of the best Valorant players from the country. They will participate in two open qualifiers- Qualifier one will be played between October 5 – October 10 and qualifier 2 will be played between October 12 – October 17. From there, the top 2 teams from each qualifier and 4 invited teams will battle it out in Grand Finale that will be played between October 22 – October 24.
Prize pool distribution
Here’s how the tournament Rs. 5,00,000 prize pool be distributed-
- 1st place- Rs. 2,25,000
- 2nd place- Rs. 1,25,000
- 3rd / 4th place- Rs. 50,000
- 5th – 8th place- Rs. 10,000
