Apex Legends Legacy update went live earlier yesterday, and soon, players reported server outages in several regions. While the update brings a new permanent game mode and a new legend, you won't be able to play it just yet.
Apex Legends' Legacy update went live at 10:30 pm Wednesday, Indian Standard Time (IST) May 4, and seemed to cause server issues almost immediately. While users reported a few different errors, the most common one was noted to have the description "unable to connect to EA servers."
We're working through some service issues in @playapex at the moment due to high demand.— Respawn (@Respawn) May 4, 2021
We're on top of it and will get players into games as quickly as we can!
Soon after, Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind the game sent out a tweet saying "We're working through some service issues in @playapex at the moment due to high demand. We're on top of it and will get players into games as quickly as we can!"
What's new in Apex Legends: Legacy?
Apex Legends Legacy is the ninth season of the popular battle royale game. With it, Respawn entertainment has added a new weapon, a new legend, and a new permanent 3v3 Team Deathmatch mode.
- Valkyrie is the latest Apex Legend: With Valkyrie on your team, you won't have trouble with skirmishes, as you can just jetpack out of there. She's all about mobility and keeping the action going, so go ahead and give your enemies a hard time dealing with you.
- Arenas (permanent 3v3 TDM): This new game mode brings to the game a CS: GO-like economy system, and a simple, 3v3 match, in which the first team with 3 wins emerges victorious.
- New Weapon (Bocek): A bow has finally made its way into Apex Legends, and it packs quite a punch!
Once Apex Legends servers are back on track, you can go ahead and enjoy all the new content in the game for yourself.
