One of the worlds most popular Massively-Multiplayer-Online-RPG (MMORPG) titles World of Warcraft celebrates its 16 year anniversary this month and Developer Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating this occasion with an anniversary event. The event will run from November 1 - November 22 and will feature exclusive rewards, achievements, and more.
World of Warcraft was initially released on November 23, 2004 for PC and macOS in Australia and North America. It was released in the European Union on February 11, 2005. Since then the game has received quite a few expansion packs starting from The Burning Crusade which came out in January 2007.
Don the new Cloak of War
The 16th-anniversary event will run for most part of this month and it will feature new achievements, rewards, and more. Players who log into the game will get WoW's Anniversary achievement and Celebration Package. The items in this package will increase the player's Reputation and Experience gain by 16% till the end of the event. The package also has an invitation that, depending on the faction, will allow you to initiate a quest in Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
A new vendor has been introduced who sells items from previous anniversary events along with a new Crafted Cloak of War which can be bought and used for transmogrification. This anniversary event also features The Korrak's Revenge PvP event and it will allow you to earn new mounts.
On the news of their latest expansion pack Shadowlands, it has been confirmed that Shadowlands will be coming out on November 23, 2020, after it was delayed from the original release date of October 27, 2020. Shadowlands expansion pack is available for pre-purchase.
