It’s time to take a look at new video games lined up for release in April 2022. For all the gamers out there, this year started off with a bang as developers brought new titles like God of War and on PC and Pokémon Legends: Arceus in January, Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring in February, and Ghostwire: Tokyo in March. We’ll now go over 5 new video games releasing this month on PC and Consoles.
New video games coming in April 2022
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (Consoles and PC) – April 5
WB Games’ LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is scheduled to release on April 5 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC. In this new video game, you can play through all nine Star Wars saga films, visit iconic locations, and choose to play as a Jedi, Sith, Rebel, bounty hunter, droid, and more in a unique narrative.
MLB The Show 22 (Consoles) – April 5
Baseball game MLB The Show 22 is also releasing on April 5 on all major consoles. It’s set to be the seventeenth entry in the series featuring next-generation features, visuals, and graphics. Players can live out their dream of making a champion baseball team and eliminating all the competition. You can either go solo or compete online with your friends.
The House of the Dead Remake (Nintendo Switch) – April 7
This is the remake of the 1997 arcade game of the same name and is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on April 7. It’ll feature modern graphics and controls, and also have multiple endings, 2 player co-op mode, a new Horde mode with 15x more monsters, an armory with unlockable weapons, and a lot more.
MotoGP 22 (Consoles and PC ) – April 21
MotoGP 22 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC on April 21. The game brings over 120 riders, 20 official tracks, managerial careers, a new multiplayer mode, and more. Developers are bringing a realistic gameplay experience with new models, customization options, enhanced visuals, and more.
Nintendo Switch Sports (Nintendo Switch) – April 29
Nintendo Switch Sports’ release date was announced at last month’s Nintendo Switch Direct stream. It’s a new take on Wii Sports and players can immersive themselves in games like Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, and more using the Joy-Con Controllers.
