BLAST Premier World Final 2021, the last tier1 CS:GO event of this year came to a close after a thrilling BO3 final between NAVI and Gambit Esports. After losing the first map, recent major winners NAVI bounced back behind S1mple’s heroics to win the next two maps and the series 2-1 (Mirage 11-16, Ancient 16-11, Inferno 16-6). From the total $1,000,000 prize pool, NAVI won $500,000 and Gambit Esports took home $250,000.
S1mple not only ended the final with a 103 ADR and 1.62 rating, but he was also the MVP of the tournament, his 8th of this year, a record for most MVPs in a calendar year. He now has a total of 19 career MVPs, a feat matched only by Device, another star AWPer of CS:GO.

Roster changes in CS:GO
Going into 2022, we might see huge announcements from CS:GO teams regarding changes in rosters. Although nothing has been revealed officially, Vitality, Team Liquid, and G2 are making changes to their rosters.
There are rumors that Nitro, who joined 100 Thieves’ Valorant roster in 2020, could return to professional CS:GO with Team Liquid, Fallen rebuilding a Brazilian roster with Fer and Fnx, and Device wanting to join Astralis again. Now, once again, none of this is official but we might hear more on this as CS:GO tournaments begin in 2022.
