Mumbai Gullies: A GTA style game from GameEon studios set in India is coming soon
Mumbai based developer GameEon Studios are bringing an open-world, GTA style game which is set on the busy streets of Mumbai. Mumbai Gullies was announced at the IGDC 2020 and it’s the latest project from GameEon who boast several mobile game titles under their belt.
Mumbai Gullies is the dream project of GameEon CEO Nikhil Malankar who is trying to rekindle everyone’s love for GTA, and other open world games set in cities through an Indian lens. Mumbai Gullies currently does not have a release date, but the game will be launched for PC through Steam and Epic Games storefronts.
GameEon Studios making the GTA India dream a reality

A trailer was released back in January which gave us a glimpse into the world of Mumbai Gullies. The 38-second trailer features a hot pursuit between the possible protagonist and the police on the narrow streets of Mumbai City. The trailer also shows a guy playing ‘Kyte’ which is GameEons kite flying game for Android devices.
From the trailer, the game sure looks mesmerizing. GameEon Studios has carefully inspected and integrated several elements in Mumbai Gullies that mirror our beloved city of dreams. The game looks polished and the lighting effects make it a visual treat.
Mumbai Gullies holds a promise to be an absolute banger. It has the potential to be a commercial success with value for entertainment as fans virtually immerse themselves in a quest to rule Mumbai City.
According to the official Mumbai Gullies website, it is “A game inspired by the amazing contrast of life of Mumbai city. A city where the landscape changes every few meters. At one glance you could see towering skyscrapers and on the other glance you could see miles long slums.
