Earlier this month, Netherrealm Studios confirmed that they are no longer working on the further development or new content for the Mortal Kombat 11, and that they’ve moved onto their future title.
This announcement from Netherrealm Studios came as a surprise to their fans, as Mortal Kombat 11 launched two years ago in April 2019 and went well in the market as the post-release content did a flare. The title overall sold 8 million copies as of October 2020.
NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end.
