A free-to-play battle royale with new features
Battlegrounds Mobile India is a free-to-play experience with different modes like battle royale mode, a free fire fight, and 1v1 TDM. To make the more suitable for the Indian audience, Krafton has made notable changes in BGMI with respect to PUBG Mobile. For example, BGMI features green bloodstains instead of red, ‘kills’ have become ‘finishes’, and more. You can check out the differences between PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India here.
Battlegrounds Mobile India data transfer
Krafton says that “Those who have played the PUBG Mobile Nordic Map: Livik (“Prior App”) can transfer their account data to the Battlegrounds Mobile India (“New App”) and continue playing.” Data transferred accounts are eligible for pre-registration rewards. You can read more about Data transfer here.
As for data security, Krafton had sent out a statement saying they are ‘working to fully comply with the Indian laws‘ and they are ‘implementing the industry’s toughest standards for data security’ for the official launch.
