Intel i7 11700KF benchmark leaks indicate decent gains over previous generation
Intel’s anticipated next-generation line of processors 11th gen: code-named: Rocket Lake series of processors will be another 14nm chip, based on the Willow Cove architecture. With it’s launch in early 2021, fans are expecting Intel to make a comeback with 11th Gen in terms of being the best as Intel’s current 10th gen cannot hold up against the 7nm based AMD Zen3 processors.
Intel i7 11700KF was spotted on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark database, offering decent gains over this generation’s flagship according to leaks from TUM_APISAK a popular leaker on Twitter.

According to the benchmark in the leaks, the i7 11700KF was paired with an RTX 3080 graphics card running on Ashes of the Singularity’s ‘Crazy’ preset at 1440p, the duo puts out 114fps and a benchmark score of 11,300. This is a 3.6% and 2.7% increase respectively from the current generation i9 10900K.
The leak only mentions the base clock of the i7 11700KF and we are not aware of the boost clock, we can expect a boost clock more than 5.3 GHz as the 11700KF scores more than the 10900K: that has a boost clock of 5.3 GHz.
The F in the i7 11700KF suggests that Intel will continue launching the F-Series of CPU, that does not come with integrated graphics which is useless anyways.
Be Sure to take these leaks with a pinch of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed by Intel. But if the new line of processors outperform a Comet Lake i9 and come at a lesser price, we can expect one of the best gaming CPUs out there with the launch of 11th gen.
