INS Mysore: First Indian ship in World of Warship has been added to the game
Wargaming has announced that the Indian Naval ship, the INS Mysore is making its way to their naval warfare-themed massively multiplayer online game- World of Warships. According to sources, the in-game interpretation of the INS Mysore is going to be as close to the real-life INS Mysore as possible.
INS Mysore was a Fiji-class cruiser commissioned to the Indian Navy dated back to 1957. INS Mysore was obtained from the Royal Navy, where it served in World War II as HMS Nigeria.
It marks as the second cruiser to be purchased by the independent India. It also served as a flagship for the western fleet during its service, and was the command ship for the raid on Karachi Harbor in late 1971.
