Announced by Krafton at the start of this ongoing week, fans and regular players of Battlegrounds Mobile India shall experience a slew of streamer and pro-player showdowns. Steamer and pro-player respective teams will battle it out on the OG map of Erangel, along with the other two maps- Miramar and Sanhok in friendly scrimmage matches at India Ki After Party.
Now that we are two days’ into this friendly scrimmage of India Ki After Party, organized by Krafton, in collaboration with Loco, let’s have a look at the dominating performances orchestrated by some of the professional teams and the standings they have midway through the tournament.
Day One of India Ki After Party
The tournament India Ki After Party kicked off in a chill mood as we saw TDM battle with Hastar, content creator and former PUBG Mobile pro. Next up were gaming sessions involving fan-favourite content creators K18 and Mamba. Having set the mood for the audience that this tournament is a fun scrimmage taking place between the professional teams in the country, the main highlight proved to be the T1 Showdown which featured a three-match scrimmage between 20 invited professional BGMI teams.
Match One – Erangel
The first match of the tournament of India Ki After Party took place in the OG map of Erangel, the battleground which is a favourite of most of our content creators here in India. The first position was taken up by the squad of team Global Esports, followed by the teams of Team Ind and Team XO, taking up the second & third place respectively.
If one has been a part of the previous professional tournaments that have taken place in the past few months, we had all of these three teams making a name for themselves. We experienced Team IND set a benchmark by its stellar gameplay in Battlegrounds Mobile India’s Launch Party. Team XO has turned out to be quite a dominating team in the T1 professional BGMI circuit, as they came third in the recently concluded OR Invitational Tournament.
Match Two – Miramar
The second match of the day was played on the desert map of Miramar. Skylightz Gaming clocked themselves into the first position & secured the chicken dinner in this match. Team XO one-upped themselves, as they came second in this match. They were eliminated by team Skylightz Gaming in the final zone.
Match Three – Sanhok
Match three was an almost exact representation of match one, as the same three teams came into the top three, albeit in a different order. Team XO after showing a consistent dominant performance in the two previous matches, finally came first in the final match for Day One, and grabbed the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner for themselves. Team IND came second in this match, while the third position was secured by Global Esports, thus marking the end of the matches scheduled in Day One of India Ki After Party.
Day Two of India Ki After Party
Upending the order of the winners in the first day of the tournament ‘India Ki After Party’, we had an exceptionally dominant performance from one particular team in all the three matches scheduled for the day.
Match One – Erangel
In a surprising move, the team of GodNixon grabbed the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in match one of Day 2 of India Ki After Party. Team Willy came a close second, while Team SoulAman, from the banner of the famous Esports organization of S8ul came third.
Match Two – Miramar
As the match headed onto its last stages with two remaining circles left to be formed in the match, we had only player, WilllyGaming remaining alive from Team Willy, while on the other hand we had the teams of Hastar and Hrishav surviving.
Among all the remaining players, we have Willy Gaming getting eliminated first making team Willy settle for the third position. Of the remaining two teams, the final skirmish took place when the sole remaining player from team Hastar, Hastar himself tried to do a 1 vs. 2 clutch but after a knock against team Hrishav was himself eliminated, making them clock into the 2nd position, while team Hydra Hrishav acquires the first position in match 2.
Match Three – Erangel
The third match of Day 2 of India Ki After Party was supposed to be played in the Sanhok map, but while the match was underway, the players complained of facing a technical difficulty, thus the lobby had to be cancelled.
A new match was scheduled, and players dropped down into Erangel to play the final match of Day 2. The final two teams were the teams of GodNixon and Vaadhiyaar, and even though GodNixon’s team were strong in their numbers’ game, they were defeated by the two remaining players from team Vaadhiyaar.
