Raze made a name for herself since the Valorant beta as one of the most powerful Agents. She’s armed with enough equipment to deal some solid damage to the enemy, especially in the early rounds of the game. She is also pretty good at clearing out corners, but it all comes down to how you use Raze.
Raze is all about explosives- that makes her one of the most damaging agents in the game. You can pretty much say each of her ability can cause serious damage if used correctly. Here’s how to use her effectively.
Her abilities include a Boom Bot– a robot that’s like a bomb on wheels, Blast Packs– these work like remotely detonated grenades, Paint Shells- a grenade that bursts into smaller grenades after one explosion and her ultimate- the Showstopper/Rocket Launcher that deals the maximum amount of damage, enough to destroy anything in its path.

Boom Bot (C — Default) :
-
Your location can be compromised while using the boom bot, so use it wisely.
-
They cost 400 credits after the recent agent nerfs, there’s no need to drop them around randomly.
-
Use Black Packs along with Boom Bot to cause severe distraction or make them jump through obstacles.
Blast Packs (Q — Default) :
-
Use them to rush in and out of combats, you can also use them as a defensive tool. Detonate the satchel in the opposite direction and detonate instantly to dash out of the position.
-
Another way to clear off angles, as they can be thrown away from a distance while also damages from 15-50 while also moving the enemy’s position and hence a distorted aim.
-
Raze can boost herself at places by deploying a satchel on the ground and detonating in mid-air.
Paint Shells (E — Default) :
-
It deals damage to both allies and Raze herself, so be careful and not panic around when throwing them.
-
This nade is enough to kill a target with no armor, so use that as an advantage and deal heavy damage in early rounds when the enemy doesn’t have armor.
Showstopper [X] (8 Orbs) :
-
It has an equipped time of 1.4 seconds, so hold your horses and wait for it to equip before you barge in.
-
You can use your satchels to jump around and get behind or above your enemies while using your showstopper to take them down
-
You can also use it in clutch situations on the defensive side, as no one would dare to peek if you’ve your ultimate on, you can tap that diffuse the spike and hold it down while your ultimate stays active.
- All of Raze’s utility can be sent through teleports, which can be helpful to flush out anyone hid within their exit rooms or damage the enemy as they try to push through an area outside the exit room.
