How to complete Fortnite season 5 week 9 challenges
Fortnite’s Season 5 is underway and each week, there are a new set of challenges to be completed in order to earn that sweet XP which progresses your battle pass completion. The challenges for Fortnite’s Season 5, week 9 have been revealed and this is a complete guide on how you can complete them.
The challenges for Week 9 are pretty interesting and engaging. This time around, there are some really interesting challenges to be completed- search for hidden bunkers, find missing black boxes and unearth stone statues across the map. Here’s a guide on how you can complete the challenges. There are also Legendary missions this week which can be completed to get an extra boost of XP towards your battle pass progression.
Where to find Crashed Plane’s Black Box in Fortnite Week 9
Keen eyed players would have most likely noticed a crashed, abandoned plane near Coral Cove. No one knows exactly when the plane crashed or what caused it to crash- that’s why you’re looking for the black box.
To find the black box of said aircraft, you will first need to get to the challenge in the list. Once that is done, you can make your way to the aircraft at Coral Cove and check out the middle part of the plane, around which you’ll see a black stage box, which houses the black box of this plane.
Where to find Hidden Bunkers in Fortnite Week 9
In total, there are three hidden bunkers which can be found by players, but to complete the challenge, you only need to put a mark on one of the three. This is a good thing because the hidden bunkers are hidden pretty well.
One of these can be found at the northernmost tip of the map- on the south side of the island found on the north west side of Craggy Cliffs. Make your way onto the huts at the island and break away at them until they reveal the hidden bunkers. This one is the most simple to get to hidden bunker.
There’s also one hidden bunker to be found at South of Holly Hedges- this one is way out in the water. When you’re at the location, swim down until you find grills, which are the hidden bunker you need to find. You can also just swim around above the location of the bunker to complete the objective.
The third and final location where you can find a hidden bunker is East of Retail Row. This one is tricky as the cliffs easily navigable, especially not at the beginning of a match with more limited resources. You need to find a campsite northeast of a little snowcap, up in the mountains near the edge of the cliff. Just down the slope from the same campsite are two trees, with a big bush in the middle. Hit the bush with your pickaxe and you’ll see the bunker within.
Where to find Stone Statues for Emotes in Fortnite Week 9
There are many stone obelisks around the map, but the stone statues you need to emote next to in order to complete the challenge and earn XP are actual statues, not just oblong rocks. These can be found at the end of the Colossal Colosseum. All you do is walk up to them, do any emote of your choice and you’ve got that extra XP.
Stay tuned for a guide on how to complete next week’s Fortnite challenges.
