Horizon Zero Dawn PC gets Patch 1.10; Guerrilla will focus on Forbidden West going forward
Horizon Zero Dawn, which came out for PCs earlier last year and for Playstation consoles back in 2017, has just received one of its biggest and most major patches, which aim to fix some of the larger issues that the game’s port on PC were facing. Following Patch 1.10, Guerrilla games will slow down the release of fixes and patches for Horizon: Zero Dawn as the team will focus on their upcoming PS5 and PS4 title, Horizon: Forbidden West.
In a statement, Guerrilla Games stated “As our team continues development on our upcoming title Horizon Forbidden West, we are shifting to less frequent updates for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC after this patch. Please note that we will continue to monitor our community spaces as always!”
Guerilla is focusing on Horizon Forbidden West

Moving forward, the team will focus more on their upcoming title, Horizon Forbidden West. The game was teased last year at Sony’s Playstation 5 console presentation. Guerrilla games is pitching the game as a direct sequel to Zero Dawn in a more open and dangerous environment.
In the statement, they also said, “We want to thank you all for your continued support and for sending in your crash reports over the past months. The information we received through your reports was invaluable to further investigate and help fix some of the trickier issues that we fixed in Patch 1.10.”
This new Patch has taken care of most of the issues that users were facing. It aims to bring Playstation like quality to PC players. Initially, when the port came out for PCs, it wasn’t all that optimized, which led to some players facing several issues.
