Here’s everything new coming with PUBG Mobile’s 0.18.0 update
PUBG Mobile is a game that consistently gets updates and provides players with new content to make things as exciting as can be. Very soon, PUBG Mobile’s update 0.18.0 will be out and keen gamers will be looking forward to what the update will offer.
So, folks, today we take a look at the top features of update 0.18.0, which should be out really soon. As per the leaks and dataminers, it seems that there will be a few new game modes and event modes. Here are the things that you should be most excited for.
Miramar 2.0
While fans were eagerly expecting the release of Erangel 2.0, a remastered version of the map which would spice things up and add new elements to the map, what players are getting is Miramar 2.0.
In the PUBG Mobile sphere, Miramar is often regarded as quite an underrated map. Players find the map slow and too big with too many empty spaces. With the remaster however, the developers will be adding new zones, terrain and other things to change the map, while keeping the essence of it intact.
New and updated weapons
Perhaps the thing that players look forward to the most is the addition of a new weapon. A new weapon can change up the dynamics of each and every game. This time, we’re getting another new weapon, the P90. Fans of other titles may know the ins and outs of this weapon.
If other games are anything to go by, the P90 will have a large top fed magazine and a high rate of fire, making it perfect for those close range encounters. As of now, there is no information on what type of ammo the weapon will use, but most likely, it will be either 9mm or .45 ACP, since it is an SMG.
As for updated weapons, the Win94, or the Winchester will now have a 2.4x magnification scope, making it more viable in many situations. This is something that was added to the PC version of the game a while back and fans were eagerly waiting for the addition in the mobile version too.
Another feature that is finally coming to PUBG Mobile is the addition of canted sights. Essentially, this allows you to have two sights equipped on your weapon. You could be running an M4 with a 4x and a canted sight to deal damage over all distances.
New Game modes
In the 0.18.0, PUBG Mobile is going to release 2 other modes called Safety Scramble Mode and Jungle Adventure Guide Mode.
The safety scramble mode is mainly meant for the map Erangel. In this mode, zone time will be really fast and the next safezone will be highlighted in advance. This is a way to tackle campers and those who tend to not move a whole lot during the course of a game.
The other game mode is Jungle Adventure, which is set in the map Sanhok. In this, the map has been redone with a few new elements and players can now fly in a hot air balloon, amongst other things.
