Here are the major announcements that took place at CD Projekt Red’s Night City Wire
If there is one game that the entire gaming community is always willing to learn more about, it is Cyberpunk 2077. The game from CD Projekt Red is one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2020 and with Night City Wire, the developers gave us a glimpse of what the game will entail.
So, read on to know all about the futuristic, cut throat and neon bedazzled world of 2077.
Three different starting points will merge into one

From the game play footage provided by CD Projekt Red, we can safely say that we know what all of the three starting points are going to look like. You can choose to play the game as a Street Kid, a Nomad, or a Corpo. Each of these starting points will have an effect on specific dialogue points in the story.
In the gameplay, we can see how different each of the approaches are. As a Street Kid, you start off by stealing a car and going right into the action. As a Nomad, you have to make your way into Night City, which should be quite interesting.
Braindance and new gameplay mechanics
A major chunk of Night City Wire was dedicated towards something called braindance and its effects and how it will play out in the game. This is a game mechanic that is quite similar to the ‘Detective Mode’ in Batman Arkham games. In fact, even the detective mode in Detroit: Become Human reminds us of this.
As for the other information, it seems that combat and gunplay have been given quite a lot of importance. The developers are tweaking these aspects as we speak, so expect a polished experience when you get the game.
The new gameplay footage also shows off driving mechanics. The driving feels heavy and good for the game, but the developers will be tweaking that too.
Keep an eye out for the next episode
At the Night City Wire event livestream, the hosts stated that this was the first of several such episodes. Apparently, this will be a weekly thing which is supposed to give people more information about the game as we head closer to launch.
