Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is entering its one-year anniversary with a full week of festivities.
Starting today with a seven-day period of receiving in-game gifts, events, sweep stakes and new content dropping in the game to commemorate the occasion, fans around the world are invited to take part in the celebrations.
Commencement of One-Year Anniversary in Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells
The anniversary month starts of with the week opening to a new ‘London Zoo’ themed event in the game. Famously inspired by Dudley Dursley’s remarkable birthday with Harry, the game invites players to collect ‘presents’ on their game-board to earn reward chests. Presenting a snaky twist to this birthday-inspired event, players can make matches next to mysterious boxes on their game-board in order to release the python trapped inside the box.
From September 23rd, players can take part in a treasured Hogwarts tradition with the in-game event titled House Pride. In this event, one needs to complete puzzles to earn points for their respective houses, with the results being kept a track of in a single global leaderboard. From September 22nd to September 24th, players will be treated to a daily in-game anniversary gift to further celebrate the occasion upon logging in.
All through the anniversary week, players who visit the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels of Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells shall have a chance to win an anniversary prize package by posting their favourite memory from the game and using the hashtag #PuzzlesAndSpellsAnniversary. Three players will be chosen at random in order to be rewarded with the special anniversary prize.
