Halo Infinite might not get Forge and campaign co-op modes with Season 2 on May 3, but we have new details regarding their release. In the latest Halo Waypoint blog post ,Joseph Staten, Head of Creative, Halo Infinite shared S2 roadmap and stated that “We want to get the Forge toolset into your hands sooner rather than later so that awesome community maps and modes can more rapidly make their way into the game. To make this happen, we’re targeting a Forge open beta later in Season 2,” and that campaign co-op is planned for released in August.

In August 2021, 343 Industries announced that campaign co-op would arrive in Season 2 and Forge would arrive in Season 3. But as Season 1 got extended to May 2022, release of these two modes was pushed into the second half of 2022. This was followed by another confirmation where they stated they were “aiming to deliver Campaign network co-op later in Season 2.”
343 also plans on releasing split-screen co-op in Season 3 which is scheduled to go live on November 8.
Halo Infinite Season 2 launches May 3
While you wait for campaign co-op and Forge modes, you can experience new Season 2 content. This new season is titled “Lone Wolves” and it’ll introduce players to a new Arena map called Catalyst and a new BTB map called Breaker. There’s also a 100 tier battle pass, new game modes, cosmetic pack, and more too look forward to.
