The first Halo Infinite beta
is all set to wrap up pretty soon, and the Halo community is currently enjoying the multiplayer on their Xbox and PC over the weekend’s technical preview. However, a few data miners recovered a voice file that strongly suggests that a new Battle Royale mode might be the next big thing coming to Halo Infinite.
The beta data mine has already revealed a variety of other details about Halo Infinite, which previously the community was unaware of. That includes the existence of multiple single player/multiplayer co-op missions, and a huge amount of story spoilers, including the plot and mission details as well as the plot twist.
The recent leak is said to be the simplest yet the most effective and far-reaching reveal, the leaked voice-file was originally posted on ResetEra
. The voice over that is on the Halo Infinite’s multiplayer announcer, which shouts off the game mode at the beginning of the match. It’s just two words, these two words are enough to send chills through any Halo fan’s spine. The two words are — “Battle Royale”.
Halo Infinite : Battle Royale Mode & Release Date
Here’s the link to hear that short clip, it’s not yet confirmed by any of the trusted sources. However, the Battle Royale mode could also be a mini game-mode in the battle royale style rather than the entire exclusive like Player Unknown’s Battle Ground or Fortnite styled one. It could also turn out to be an unused file that the developers at 343 Studios forgot to erase out of the patch.
These are just speculations as of now, since no official words are said by 343 nor Microsoft about the recent leak. But recently, battle royale genre has earned a lot of popularity over the time. It’s not a stretch to imagine that this could also be included within the Halo Infinite. Either way, there’s a strong possibility that more details would be coming out in November.
