Grand Theft Auto VI featuring evolving map could come out in 2025
Several leaks have popped up online claiming GTA 6 is coming no sooner than 2025. The popular open-world action RPG Franchise was expected to release its newest installment in 2023 but now it seems unlikely. Its latest edition released in 2013 for last-gen consoles was very well received by gamers and critics alike. It featured a vast open-world and a captivating narrative with 3 playable characters and a choice-based ending.
Later GTA Online was released, Rockstar Games’ multiplayer take on the franchise resulting in more sales and revenue. Ever since then the publisher has not revealed anything of the new game while GTA Online got timely updates. Rockstar shifted its focus toward Red Dead Franchise with Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Online.
Reputed Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson released a video on Youtube last week dealing with various rumors and predictions regarding the GTA franchise. In this, he also discussed the modern setting and Fornite-like evolving map that keeps expanding over time. He also believes that the new GTA will have multiple playable characters along with a female Protagonist.
Idk why everyone thinks that I said GTA VI was coming in 2023. Everything Tom Henderson has said about the game matches up with what I’ve heard

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier tweeted that most of what Tom said is in conjunction with what he had heard adding further weight to Tom Henderson’s predictions. Jason Schreier had earlier predicted a launch window of 2023 but that was long before the pandemic hit and since then things have been uncertain.
Although these leaks look credible and promising it’s worth noting that GTA is arguably the biggest gaming franchise and leaks are just as much fallible, it only makes sense to take it with a grain of salt.
