Rockstar Games has announced HD remasters for their massively popular Grand Theft Auto games (GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas). These remasters will be available in The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition pack, playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The exact release date on these platforms has not been specified but Rockstar says the pack is coming to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.

Grand Theft Auto games are getting visual upgrades
The HD remastered versions will meet today’s standards of visuals and gameplay.
“The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals,” Rockstar said in the announcement.
The three games will be removed from digital retailers this week.

Meanwhile, GTA Online is coming to next-generation consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions were supposed to release on November 11, 2021, but were delayed to March 2022 for “a few additional months for polishing and fine-tuning.”
