Virtual reality gaming space is set to become more immersive as we’ll soon experience Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in VR. At the recent Facebook Connect 2021 event, it was announced that Rockstar’s 2004 classic is in development for the Oculus Quest 2 VR system.

As of now, there’s only confirmation of the game being developed for VR. Information regarding price, release date, and features will be revealed in the future. “This is a project many years in the making, and we can’t wait to show you more of it,” Facebook said.
Oculus Quest 2 boasts games like Population: One, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Sniper Elite VR, and more. Most recently, Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 made its way on VR. It features re-engineered weapons and items, better resolution, and enhanced audio to deliver a spookier gameplay experience.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy
Meanwhile, Rockstar is bringing remastered versions of three GTA titles- GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, as a part of the GTA: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition pack.
The digital version will be available from November 11 on all major platforms whereas physical copies for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Switch will be available from December 7. The remastered versions feature modern controls, improved visual fidelity, improved weather system, better textures, updated achievements, trophies, and more.
