WB Montreal has treated fans with a 13-minute Gotham Knights gameplay video, showcasing Nightwing and Red Hood in action. This comes two months after the devs announced October 25 release date for the action RPG.

In the video, Geoff Elenor, Game Director at WB Montreal takes us through the character details and combat in Gotham Knights. Each of the 4 playable characters- Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin, has a unique way of getting around, we see Nightwing using his Flying Trapeze which is a metal glider, and Red Hood using his ‘Mystical Leap’ ability to get around Gotham City. Additionally, all characters can ride the Batcycle and use the Fast Travel feature to get around Gotham City.
In terms of combat, Nightwing has an acrobatic, close-up style as he uses his Escrima Sticks to knock enemies down, whereas Red Hood comes out guns blazing. Each character comes with a special ability like Red Hood’s ‘attachable bomb’. Players can also customize their characters using different outfits. Depending on the rarity, these outfits offer different stats.

Gotham Knights pre-order and release date
Gotham Knights is scheduled to release on October 25 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Pre-purchase is available and there are some bonuses in store-
