PlayStation recently released God of War on PC (via Steam) and it’s already a massive hit. On launch day, the game recorded 60,000 concurrent players and by January 16, that number peaked to over 70,000, which is the highest for any PlayStation Studios game on Steam. As of now, it’s also Steam’s top-selling game ahead of Monster Hunter Rise and Ready or Not, and boasts a 97% positive rating.

God of War on PC features enhanced graphics with NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex support
Santa Monica Studio has put several optimizations in place with the PC version. The game supports 4K resolution and features uncapped frame rates, higher resolution shadows, improved screen-space reflections, and GTAO and SSDO support. Overall gameplay and visuals are enhanced further with the inclusion of NVIDIA’s DLSS and Reflex features.
Back when the PC port was announced, Grace Orlady, Sr. Community Manager at Santa Monica Studio said that “Our primary goal when bringing God of War to PC was to highlight the exceptional content the team created and leverage the powerful hardware that the platform offers to create a uniquely breathtaking and high-performance version of the game.”
