Garena unveils two Free Fire tournaments to mark the end of 2020
Video game developer Garena has unveiled two tournaments in this month for Free Fire. The Free Fire Battle Arena and the Total Gaming Tournament will host top teams to give 2020 an exciting, fitting end.
Free Fire is Garena’s most popular mobile gaming title with over 500 million downloads on the Play Store and 80 million active daily users. The fact that Free Fire’s viewership grew by 162% in 2020 and the game racked up over 100 billion views on YouTube alone is evidence of the level of entertainment it provides and how much Free Fire is loved by fans.
Free Fire Battle Arena Season 2

The first tournament is the Free Fire Battle Arena Season 2. Everyone who plays Free Fire is welcome to participate in this tournament. The Qualifiers for this tournament have already begun on December 4. The tournament’s next stage is the League Stage where the top 18 teams from Qualifier Stage will compete from December 11 to 13. The top 6 teams from the League Stage will advance directly to the Grand Finals which is to be played on December 18. The remaining 12 teams will fight for 6 Grand Finals spots in the Play-ins.
Total Gaming Tournament

The second tournament is the Total Gaming Tournament which is an invitation tournament hosted by Total Gaming, India’s largest Free Fire content creator with 16.7 million subscribers. Top streamers and professional teams from Bangladesh, India, and Nepal will come together in collaboration on BOOYAH!. Total Gaming Tournament will feature 36 teams competing for glory and a share from the massive prize pool of Rs. 2,00,000.
In this tournament, you will see some of the biggest names of the Free Fire community like Lokesh Gamer (2.8 million BOOYAH! followers), Sooneeta (2.8 million BOOYAH! followers), and Gaming Subrata (2.2 million BOOYAH! followers). These Free Fire personalities will be joined by pro teams that qualified as finalists in the BOOYAH! Cup Invitational which was held on November 23. Total Gaming Esports will also be participating in the event.
