Garena has announced the Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore championship featuring a massive $2,000,000 prize pool. After online tournaments in 2020, the Free Fire World Series 2021 will be played in Singapore between May 22 – May 29.
This is the largest ever prize pool for a Free Fire tournament. It’s fitting, as Free Fire is one of the most popular online mobile games in the world. Like PUBG Mobile and CODM, Free Fire also has a massive competitive scene with several teams.
Free Fire World Series 2021 format
The FFWS 2021 SG Play-ins will be held on May 22. Play-ins will include 12 teams who are first or second in their regional-level tournament. The top 2 teams from Play-ins will advance to the finals where they will be joined by 10 invited teams which will be the top 10 seeds from each regional-level tournament. Finals will be played on May 29. 3 of the 10 invited teams have already been decided- LGDS, VIP Esports, and Silence. 4 of the 12 Play-ins teams have been revealed- Invincible, DEA, Team TG, and vaiXourar.
FFWS 2021 SG will feature two teams from India. One will be directly invited to the Finals and the other one will in the Play-ins. The top 2 teams from Free Fire India Championship will make their way into FFWS 2021 SG.

To ensure all safety protocols are followed, Garena is organizing the FFWS 2021 SG with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA).
