Borderlands 3, which was one of the best games to come out in the last year, is soon getting an awesome new update. The update will bring more functionality to two of the characters- FL4K and Amara- their skill trees will be updated to cater to different playstyles.
In addition to that, the update will also bring a new difficulty mode, which is just what the game needed to bring back the hardcore gamers who enjoy fighting till every last resource is depleted. So, lets take a look at the updates which will hit Borderlands 3 on November 10, 2020.
Updates to FL4K and Amara
Starting with FL4K, everyone's favourite beastmaster in the Borderlands, FL4K’s skill is a gravity trap and his new pet is a loader bot, and his tree is focused on survivability. Earlier, he was more of a supporting character relying on his pets to do a lot of secondary damage. With the loader bot, you can be sure to get a lot more critical hits on enemies.
His new abilities allow him to take on a more tactical role and surprise enemies. With a slew of gadgets up his sleeve, there's not much that's going to stop him.
Next up we have Amara, the game's primary Siren this time around. Amara’s new skill is essentially an elemental volleyball and her tree is focused on melee damage and cryo. With so much elemental damage on her side, Amara is a great pick for almost all fights against all enemy types.
New Difficulty mode
One of the more interesting additions to the game which will shake up gameplay and offer you a new experience is the Mayhem 11 mode. At the cost of lower drop rates, you will be able to farm Mayhem 10 gear without needing to apply any of the modifiers that are currently mandatory for Mayhem levels 1-10.
