Riot Games has confirmed that a new MMORPG based in the League of Legends universe is under development. Riot is bringing Runeterra to life and for that, they have opened up a new job recruitment page on their official website to recruit more people.
MMORPG games for PC are a massive hit among gamers. Some of the most popular MMORPG's are World of Warcraft, Runescape, and The Elder Scrolls Online. Back in December, Greg Street, Riot’s VP of IP and entertainment, sent out a tweet regarding the development of a new game set in the League universe and later confirmed that the new game would be an MMO.
He tweeted again yesterday about this upcoming MMO and stated that they are hiring for the same.
We are building an MMO and we are hiring!— Greg Street (@Ghostcrawler) February 22, 2021
This is an unusual approach because we are going to need a lot of people, and we know there is a lot of interest, so you can use this link to express your interest even if we don't have an open role for you yet.https://t.co/CF53hsARWE

When will this new MMORPG from Riot Games release?
Right now, fans have to make do with the fact that a new MMORPG is coming. As these games take several years to develop, don't expect a release date any time soon. MMORPG's feature a large player base and an even larger open-world for players to explore. If everything falls correctly into place for Riot, they can deliver a stunning MMORPG based in the League of Legends universe. But for now, It's a waiting game till Riot has more to announce.
