PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Arabia 2021 teams, prize pool, and more

Chinese tech giant Tencent has announced the second season of PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) Arabia for all professional and budding PUBG Mobile athletes from the Middle East. The tournament features 16 teams that will compete against each other in 12 matches from April 29 - May 1 for the biggest share of the $100,000 prize pool. 

PMSC Arabia 2021 is the fourth iteration of the 'Star Challenge Series' that is hosted by Tencent and produced by VSPN. The first-ever PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Arabia took place at the end of 2020. It also had a prize pool of $100,000 and the tournament was won by Gunz Esports.

According to Dot Esports, the following 16 teams have been directly invited to the tournament.

PMSC Arabia 2021 prize pool distribution

From the total of $100,000, the winner will take home $40,000. Teams that take second and third place on the podium will be awarded $20,000 and $10,000 respectively. 

1st Place – $40,000 

2nd Place – $20,000

3rd Place – $10,000

4th -6th Place – $3,500

7th-9th Place – $2,400

10th-12th Place -$2,000

13th-16th Place – $1,200

PUBG Mobile in India

Indian PUBG Mobile fans remain ever-optimistic about the game's launch in the country. Recently, PUBG Mobile streamer Dynamo Gaming claimed that PUBG Mobile will arrive in India on a 'double digit' date which could mean anything from the 10th to the 31st.
