PUBG Mobile is ready to make it's return to India

PUBG Corporation, creator of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) announced that they are preparing to launch the PUBG Mobile India. It is a new game created especially for the Indian market. This marks the official return of the game after PUBG Mobile was banned by the Government of India back in September.

The statement from the Government of India on the ban explained that several complaints were received from various sources that talked about stealing and transferring user data in an unauthorized manner to servers which were located outside of India.

In response to the ban, the company has now shared plans about how the game will provide a secure and healthy gameplay environment alongside investments to cultivate esports, entertainment and IT industries.

PUBG Mobile India to launch soon

PUBG Corporation claims that it will conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding Indian player data and ensure that it is safely managed.

The new version of the game will feature improved in-game content that's in-line with the Indian players. Various aspects of the game will be customized for Indian gamers such as the game being set in a virtual simulation training ground, green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game and more.

The game is also set to get a new feature that will allow game time control in order to promote healthy gameplay habits for younger players.

PUBG Corporation has also announced plans to create an Indian subsidiary to enhance communications and services with players. The company will also look to actively collaborate and leverage local businesses to strengthen its gaming service.

PUBG Corporation plans to make investments worth $100 million USD in India to cultivate the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries.

Due to the overwhelming community enthusiasm for PUBG esports in India, the company also plans to make investments by hosting India-exclusive esports events, which will feature the biggest tournaments, the largest prize pools, and the best tournament productions

The announcement of these plans by PUBG Corp confirms that PUBG Mobile will be coming back to India in a new form that caters to Indian players.
