Phasmophobia has received a beta build update which has brought about significant changes in the game. Developer Kinetic Games posted the patch notes for this update on their official Twitter account.
With this update, the developer has given ghosts, except Revenants a speed boost and has also reduced the idle time of a ghost at the beginning of a hunt. Kinetic Games has also made some bug fixes in the game with this update. Let's take a look.
Bug fixes and changes in Phasmophobia
According to the patch notes, a ghost's speed will “only drop if they can’t see you after they have checked your last known location”. Ghosts in the beta build have also become slightly smarter with this update. There's a chance they will open both doors of the closet during a hunt and they will also have a 50% chance of remembering where they last saw you.
But the developer has brought some perks for the players as well. Furniture will now block the line of sight between the player and the ghost. This gives players more places to hide. You will also hear the ghost from a farther distance (from 7 to 20 metres). If beta version players welcome these changes, they will be added to the live game.
