Apex Legends: Legacy - Season 9 brings major map changes

Apex Legends: Legacy - Season 9 brings major map changes

Apex Legends is a free to play battle royale game, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game is available to play on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation 4. Apex Legends is planned to release for Android and iOS devices in 2022

Recently Apex Legends brought out some initial teasers for the upcoming Season 9 of Apex Legends. One of the biggest news here is that Season 9 won't be called Season 9 but a simple sub-text as 'Apex Legends: Legacy' this suggests that this season is going to be a lot different from the previous ones though with little to no details out yet. Developers confirmed some minor details that include a major reword of the map Olympus.

This Olympus rework will be named as 'Infested Olympus' as Respawn Entertainment described it on their official website. It will include some sort of giant invasive plant life 'An infestation has sprung loose, strangling the city with roots and natural growths." Assuming that the developers continue to reveal some of the details, we might earn a lot more details to connect the dots together before the official Season 9 or Apex Legends: Legacy release on 4th May 2021.

Apex Legends: Legacy will also bring out a new weapon called as Bocek Bow, which is 'Capable of inflicting tremendous damage at medium range" but since its a bow, low fire rate is expected.

Out of all these, the new legend will be also included with the Legacy update called 'Valkyrie' more details about this new legend is in the attached video
