OG has officially announced that Shahar 'flameZ' Shushan is their fifth and final member for their Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster, the rumor came true as the Israeli pro player from Team Endpoint is now an official member of Team OG.
flameZ will fill in the slot of Issa 'ISSAA' Murad after his departure from the squad the previous month. flameZ is considered as one of the young rising talents in CSGO with a lot of stuff in his bag. This 17-year-old guy has already made some name for himself with his previous team 'Team Endpoint' within the past few months, with flameZ in their lineup, Team Endpoint even managed to grab a slot and qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
The addition of flameZ to this squad marks the second roster change in a span of less than a month for Team OG, as the European team replaced Nathan 'NBK' Schmitt with Nikolaj 'niko' Kristensen in March 2021. Though the roster was quite unstable and these roster changes were foreseen.
A New Flame 🔥— OG CS:GO (@OGcsgo) April 9, 2021
Excited to unveil one of the world’s greatest upcoming players as the last member of our CS:GO roster.
Welcome home @flameZcsgo.
Tune in Tuesday for the OG CS:GO 2.0's debut at @BLASTPremier Spring Showdown.#DreamOG pic.twitter.com/D01XlT8vwz
"With Nikolaj and Shahar now joining the roster, we are confident that we can keep pushing the team towards the highest levels of Counter-Strike," OG COO Charlie Debs said. "Shahar is an amazingly talented young player who already understands what it takes to perform at the highest level, and we will do our best to offer him the right tools to bloom even more this season."
Though the addition of flameZ in this roster however means that the rumors about Michal 'MICHU' Muller joining the OG squad comes to an end and the final slot belongs to flameZ as we predicted in the previous article.
flameZ will be making his debut for Team OG in the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Showdown where OG will be facing Astralis in their first matchup where they'll have to win all of their matches to grab a slot for the BLAST Premier Spring Finals. While the interesting part here is if OG manages to win their opening game against Astralis they might end up facing Team Endpoint in the quarter-finals.
