Sony's latest PlayStation console, the PlayStation 5 was released in India earlier this month. Fans rushed to get their hands on a shiny new next-generation console, and soon, PS5 stocks in India were wiped out. Now, Sony has given information about the next wave of PS5 stocks for the Indian market. In India, the PS5 released quite a few months after its global release, which was in November.
PS5 restocks are coming soon
PlayStation 5 restocks in India are coming sooner than expected, because according to Twitter user @PS5India, Sony's own ShopAtSC (Sony Center) has changed its PS5 listing from 'Sold out' to 'Notify me'. This is most likely because PS5 units are on their way to India, which will allow more gamers in India to get their hands on the much sought-after console.
Upon signing up for the restock notification, Sony conveniently sends you an email which states that your nearest retailer will get in touch with you. Prior to this, it was expected that Sony PS5 restocks would hit the shelves sometime early in the summer, but it seems that we are just a few weeks away from a new sale wave of the Sony PlayStation 5.
When can you get a PS5?
Earlier, during the launch of the PlayStation 5 in India, some potential buyers were given a mid-February or an early March date, which seems to be the case, going by current trends. As of now, there is no word on when the restock units will hit retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, and more, but you should most likely be able to go to a Sony store and pick up a console, while units last, sometime next month.
