Earlier this month, Krafton announced Battlegrounds Mobile India. a free-to-play battle royale title that will be available to play only in India. Since the announcement, fans have been wondering if they will be able to access their old accounts and all the items.
PUBG Mobile pro Abhijeet Andhare aka Ghatak uploaded a video on his YouTube channel saying "investments made in PUBG Mobile will be retained in the Battlegrounds Mobile India". In the video (at 1:03), he says "There is good news for those who have made investments in PUBG Mobile. Whatever investments you have made will be retained in the Battlegrounds Mobile India. So, chill and enjoy.”
Players can participate in international tournaments
When the game was announced, Krafton said that it will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. Maybe Krafton will organize esports tournaments exclusively for Indian players, but nothing can be said for sure. As for international tournaments, Ghatak said in the same video (at 3:00), "Krafton will build a framework for talented Indian players to showcase their skills in international events. So chill, Krafton will take care of everything."
