Since Krafton announced Battlegrounds Mobile India earlier this month, it has created a wave of hype in the Indian gaming community. As fans patiently wait for the game's launch, Krafton has given a sneak peek of the in-game map.
Krafton uploaded a new artwork on Battlegrounds Mobile India's official Instagram handle. The text reads "Dropping Soon" and the location appears to be Ban Tai on the Sanhok map. Even though Battlegrounds Mobile India has some features that are different from PUBG Mobile, the maps are likely to be the same.
A couple of days, Krafton released another artwork featuring the iconic PUBG helmet. Shyam Deshpande, Associate Art Director at Krafton, shared behind the scenes of the same.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is a free-to-play, battle royale game that will be available to play only in India. It is developed specifically for the Indian audience. The game will include exclusive in-game outfits, green bloodstains instead of red, and players under 18 years of age will be allowed to play only for 3 hours per day.
Players have been wondering if they will have access to their old PUBG Mobile accounts. According to a recent report, players will be able to access their old accounts and all the items. Krafton said that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. PUBGM pro Abhijeet Andhare aka Ghatak says "Krafton will build a framework for talented Indian players to showcase their skills in international events. So chill, Krafton will take care of everything."
