Microsoft’s signature racing game, Forza Horizon 4 is now available on the Steam Store. The game was initially only available on Xbox and Windows Store. It is now priced at Rs. 1,299 for the Standard Edition, Rs. 1,899 for the Deluxe Edition, and Rs. 2,499 for the Ultimate Edition on the Xbox store. This marks the first time any Forza game has been made available on Steam.
The Steam version is considerably cheaper as the popular racing game costs a fortune if purchased from the Windows Store. The Windows Store quotes Rs. 3,999 for the Standard Edition, Rs. 5,399 for the Deluxe Edition, and Rs. 6,599 for the Ultimate Edition.
The Deluxe edition packs the Car Pass and the Formula Drift Pack. On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition features all of the content from the Deluxe Edition shipped with the Best of Bond Car Pack, a VIP Membership, and access to the Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions expansions.
Forza Horizon 4 on Steam will support crossplay
The Steam copy of Forza Horizon 4 supports cross-play. This enables players to race with and against those on Xbox, Windows 10 PC, and via the cloud through Android. The Steam edition also packs Steam Cloud saves. However, cross saving between Steam and the game’s other platforms is not supported due to technical limitations according to a statement made by Microsoft. Players should note that an Xbox Live account is still required to play Forza Horizon 4 on Steam. The Steam edition of Forza Horizon 4 was developed by Sumo Nottingham.
Forza Horizon 4 is the latest installment in the Forza racing franchise. It standout from its Motorsport counterparts as Horizon is decorated with a considerable amount of arcade gameplay. Forza Horizon 4 currently packs more than 450 cars. It is the latest game from Microsoft to get listed on the Steam store after Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the Ori series, State of Decay, and if we go back in time far enough, Cuphead.
