Casey Hudson, who was a part of BioWare for nearly 20 years also the director of Mass Effect resigned from the studio back in December 2020 has now unveiled his upcoming project: Humanoid Studios, a new outfit with a promise to “combine excellence in the arts with advanced sciences to deliver the future of interactive entertainment.”
This new unveiling was announced on Twitter, where Hudson is said to be leading the Humanoid Studios as the CEO, while the website mentions him as the founder. But as of now, things are up and running with the help of “some colleagues”, no other details about anyone’s involvement is revealed yet.
According to the website, Humanoid Studios is actively looking to fill in some keyroles like Gameplay Programmer, Designer, Creative Director and more. The Canade-based studio will have their offices in British Columbia and Alberta, while they start off with work-from-home arragements as of now due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and eventually transition to on-site work.

Casey Hudson left BioWare in December 2020 along with Mark Darrah, the lead on Dragon Age. Though, the involvement of Mark with Humanoid Studios haven’t been mentioned yet.
