Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Halloween event for Operation Shadow Legacy goes live today. It is called "Sugar Fright" and it will run for a limited period of time started today until 10 November 2020 featuring a new mode, map, and cosmetics.
Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Rainbow Six Siege was first released on 1 December 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and today it is one of the most popular esports titles in the world with over 45 million registered users
Kill your opponents and collect candy
According to a post by Ubisoft, the new game mode will be called "Candy Wars" and it will be played on "Neighbourhood" a new map that is being introduced with the event.
Players will choose from 10 operators who have been turned into puppets and fight as Tricksters or Treaters. The attacking side of Tricksters comprises of IQ, Zofia, Nomad, Capitao, and Thermite.
Their rivals will be the Treaters who play as the defenders. The defender team features the following 'sewn' operators- Pulse, Ela, Castle, Goyo, and their leader- Frost. The rules are simple- Kill your enemies in a round of 10mins to collect candy that they drop. First team to collect 50 candy wins.
Even you if you die in this PVP mode, you will be respawned to join the fight in collecting candy.
The Sugar Fright event also features 30 new cosmetic items that can be collected. These include exclusive items for Zofia, IQ, Goyo, Nomad, Capitao, Thermite, Frost, Pulse, Ela, and Castle. Players can use these cosmetics and re-imagine the puppet-like operators with a new look.
These cosmetic items can be collected in-game after completing special weekly Event Challenges or purchased as bundles for R6 credits.
